How to Enter a Sequence

BNA Bases: Add a "+" in front of each letter. Do not leave spaces in the sequence text. Example: +A+C+T+G+A+C+T+G

DNA Bases: Add at least one BNA among the DNA letter sequence. Do not leave spaces in the sequence text. Example: ACT+GACTG

Additional Information

The most accurate Tm value can be obtained in the range from 9 to 20 nucleotides. It is, however, possible to obtain reasonably accurate Tm values in other ranges.

The predicted Tm values are based on the following:

  • Salt concentration (sodium ion) from 100 to 150 mM.

  • Neutral or closely neutral solution (pH 7.0 - 8.3).

  • Oligonucleotide concentrations between 2 and 4 uM.


Note 1: Due to the limitation of RNA hybridization information, the RNA Tm values may not be precise.
