Create Your Own Unique Polyclonal Antbiody

Bio-Synthesis offers several different types of polyclonal antibody service packages, if you do not find what fits your needs, you can create your unique polyclonal antibody progrm against peptides or proteins using our custom antibody production protocol, which comes with complimentary immunization and bleed scheduling for each animal as well as satisfying quality control requirements. The creation of a custom protocol is recommended for particular antigens that are outside of our standard 90 day production schedule or for bulk serum protocols. We can generate polyclonal antibodies in rabbits, chickens, goats, guinea pigs, mice and more against both soluble and non-soluble recombinant proteins, fusion proteins, ESTs (Expressed Sequence Tags), peptides (conjugated or unconjugated), enzymes, heat-killed bacteria and viruses, and cells. Live or toxic substances cannot be accepted.

The following are types of antigens that can be used for antiserum production and the possible additional processing or conjugation that may be required.

Our client needs to provide Bio-Synhthesis with following antigen requirements:

  • Antigen supplied in solution, nitro-cellulose blots or polyacrylamide gel slices
  • Antigen quantities should exceed the minimum quantities described below
  • Antigen purity must be > 80% to ensure a quality antibody production
  • Conjugated peptide antigen can be prepared in our laboratory.

All of our antibody programs can be prolonged with an additional immunization every 28 days, and an additional bleed 10 days after the immunization. Production extension has an additional charge for animal maintenance fee.
