Pepttide length for ELISA based assay

What is the optimal length of the peptide? I recently read a paper that indicated 30 mer peptides perform better than 20 mer peptides in an ELISA based assay

We use lots of 20mer peptides for ELISA assay and they work very well. In general, longer peptides bind stronger than shorter peptides in ELISA plates.
