Do you synthesize oligo with base randomization?
We offer two methods of randomization: (1) Machine Mix-- During synthesis all bases are allowed to react simultaneously. Due to differences in delivery rates, this may result in a skewing of the base ratios. There is no additional cost for Machine Mixing. (2) Hand-Mix--Base ratios are mixed to specification prior to synthesis. This normalizes potential delivery rate differences. To order hand-mixed base, please contact our sales representative. Additional fees will apply. Warning: Oligos with more than 25 mixed base insertions may contain more possible combinations of sequences than the quantity of molecules available for synthesis resulting in incomplete randomization
