. The variants at the TNF promoter gene
(-238G/A, -308G/A and -863C/A etc.)
have been intensively studied, and there have numerous reports of the TNF gene and manifestations of infectious diseases.

Ordering
HLA DNA typing can be performed on peripheral blood, cord blood, bone marrow, or buccal swabs. The quantity of DNA required is dependent upon what kind of testing is required. Generally, 50ng of DNA per 10µl PCR reaction will be needed.
