Bio-Synthesis offers Cyan 500 oligonucleotide labeling. This amine-reactive fluorescent label can be incorporate to an oligo at 5', 3' and internally. Cyan 500 is designed and recommended by Roche for application in LightCycler® instruments. The dye can be incorporate to a functionalized oligonucleotide through cross linking chemistry. Cyan500 labeled oligo can be detected on excitation at 430 nm in Roche LightCycler® instruments. Cyan 500 NHS-Ester can also be used as label for other bio-molecules such as proteins etc. The dye has Molecular Weight 580 g/mol and is moderately hydrophilic.
This dye can combine with BBQ, BlackBerry Quencher, Dabcyl, BHQ-1 or our Instant Quencher (IQ4). We also offer Cyan500 replacement dye labeling.

Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at -20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
