Bio-Synthesis offer TETA oligonucleotide labeling service. Macrocyclic labels such as 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane-N,N',N'',N'''-tetraacetic acid, TETA is a metal chelator containing ffour chelating carboxylate groups and four nitrogens. C- and N-functionalized derivatives can be prepare with TETA. A p-bromoacetamidobenzyle-TETA derivative could be used to label oligo through sulfhydryl groups. TETA labeled oligo are often  used as organic ligands in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) or in application using target-specific radiopharmaceuticals.

TETA chelator can be attached to an oligo at any position the use of different bifunctional cross linker.  Dual HPLC purification is highly recommended.
