PenetraINS™

Refers to the special custom service provided by Bio-Synthesis Inc. of Lewisville ,Texas, whereby two different molecules are linked together via selective chemical coupling, using a variety of methods, including but not limited to NHS to amino, aldehyde to alcohol, maleimido to cysteine, native ligation, etc. The chimeras that can be formed can be, peptide to DNA, peptide to RNA, peptide to cancer drugs, peptide to small molecules, peptide to carbohydrates, peptide to other modified nucleic acids. One of the aims in preparing these compounds is to facilitate penetration inside animal cells , where a polycationic  moiety( generally the peptide part) allows membrane passage, then the other component targets a specific gene region. It is predicted that the use of bioconjugates in biological research will have an increased role in the coming years
