Bio-Synthesis offers affinity ligand oligonucleotide synthesis and modification that allows researchers to use as probes in solution, membrane, or bead-based assay systems. These affinity ligands have high binding affinity toward a specific moiety or they can be used to generate antibodies. Oligo affinity ligand modifications include: biotin (ligand)-streptavidin (moiety), digoxigenin (ligand)-anti-DIG-antibody and dinitrophenol (ligand)-anti-DNP-antibody. In the appropriate capture medium, these ligand modified oligonucleotides can be used to capture and purification of the oligo by affinity chromatography.

These ligands can be incorporated at any position within an oligonucleotide post-synthetically or at time of synthesis. An oligonucleotide modified with a primary amine group is used to covalently attach dye with oligonucleotide via NHS ester chemistry; other cross-linking chemistries are also available depending on particular project specifications, Dual HPLC purification is highly recommended for post-synthetic conjugation.

Delivery times: 5-7 Working days

Packaging:    Dried

Shipping conditions: Room temperature

Storage conditions: -20 oC to -70 oC

Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4 oC for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20 oC should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at -20 oC) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
