Enhanced Diagnostic Tools
Using a new synthesis technology, Bio-Synthesis is able to provide large scale oligonucleotide synthesis
for high quality DNA, RNA, Constrained Nucleotide, and BNA oligonucleotides from mg to
multi-gram quantity for pre-clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic studies. At Bio-Synthesis,
DNA, RNA and Bridged Nucleic Acid (BNA) can be synthesized at mid-scale range from
mg to multi-gram quantity while maintaining our strict quality commitment. All products are
analyzed by PAGE, HPLC, and mass spectroscopy.
We use dedicated equipment for large scale synthesis to enable synthesis of gram
quantity oligonucleotides (under 25 mers) per lot. All the products are assigned specific lot numbers and are produced under the strict lot control.
Several types of purification are available
Since the salt content and the purity of oligonucleotides are important features during large scale synthesis a desalting step is needed as an additional default purification method for this service.
Bio-Synthesis In-Vivo-Ready purification option provides high quality oligonucleotides that
are ready for animal studies. Each oligonucleotide is HPLC purified, dialyzed to
ensure that the oligonucleotide is salt free (conductance of <1 microsiemens
for a 50 um solution), sterile filtered, and endotoxin tested. All oligonucleotides
are analyzed by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, analytical HPLC, and sequencing.
