Bio-Synthesis offers ATTO 610 fluorescent dye oligonucleotide labeling at any position of an oligonucleotide. ATTO 610 belongs to red spectral region of the fluorescent labels.Characteristic features of the label are strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, and high thermal and photo-stability. The dye is moderately hydrophilic. This dye is very stable under physiological pH-values and in buffers up to pH 8.5. However, it slowly degrades at higher pH. The fluorescence is excited most efficiently in the range 615-634 nm and can be use to replace Alexa Fluor 610

ATTO 610 dye can be incorporated at any position within an Oligonucleotide. A primary amine modified oligonucleotide is used to covalently attach with dye via NHS conjugation chemistry; other cross-linking chemistries are also available depending on particular project specifications. Dual HPLC purification is used to remove failure sequences during first HPLC purification,  after labeling, the second HPLC is performed to remove unlabeled oligonucleotides and excessive dye in order to obtain a full length labeled oligonucleotide.
