Cy7 NHS Fluor Dye, NIR Emission
Cy7 NHS Ester is a reactive near-infrared fluorescent dye belonging to the cyanine (Cy) dye family. The dye contains an N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester functional group that selectively reacts with primary amines, enabling efficient post-synthetic labeling of amino-modified oligonucleotides.
Following conjugation, Cy7-labeled DNA, RNA, PNA, aptamers, antisense oligonucleotides, siRNA, and molecular probes exhibit bright near-infrared fluorescence with low background interference from biological samples. Its long emission wavelength provides improved tissue penetration and reduced autofluorescence compared with visible fluorophores, making Cy7 an excellent choice for molecular imaging and in vivo applications.

Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at -20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
