Bio-Synthesis offer Pacific Orange fluorescent dye oligonucleotide labeling services. Pacific Orange oligo conjugates has peak excitation wavelength at 405 and emission wavelength in 551 nm. This allows it to be used with other violet-excitable fluorophores such as Pacific Blue™ dye for multiparameter analysis using a single excitation source.
Pacific Orange can be incorporated at any position within an Oligonucleotide. A primary amine modified oligonucleotide is used to covalently attach with dye via NHS conjugation chemistry; other cross-linking chemistries are also available depending on particular project specifications. Dual HPLC purification is highly recommended.
