For example, if teh primer tube says 24 nmol and you want to make a 100 µM stock:24 nmol x L/100 µmol x 1 µmol/1,000 nmole x 106 µL/1 L = 240 µL100 µM is a commonly used stock concentration. A shortcut for the caclulation aboe is to simply multiply the amouint of primer (innmole) by 10. This give you the total volumne (in µL) that the primer shoudl be dissolved in , to make a 100 µM stock.
