How do I calculate the amount of water or TE in which to resuspend my primer?

Please refer to our certificate of analysis or primer tube for the primer yield, given in nanomole (nmol) or visit our website for  oligo calculator. For example, if teh primer tube says 24 nmol and you want to make a 100 µM stock:

24 nmol x L/100 µmol x 1 µmol/1,000 nmole x 10⁶ µL/1 L = 240 µL

100 µM is a commonly used stock concentration. A shortcut for the caclulation aboe is to simply multiply the amouint of primer (innmole) by 10. This give you the total volumne (in µL) that the primer shoudl be dissolved in , to make a 100 µM stock.
