How to detect purity of a protein sample (Sample for 1D gradient reducing SDS-PAGE gel and MALDI-TOF analysis
The best approach for this is to use a high resolution 1D gradient reducing SDS-PAGE gel.
- Which detector is used in RP- HPLC for semi-preparative C18 run. UV and/or DAD. We can monitor the chromatographic traces at 205 to 300 nm. Usually we use 214 (for peptides), 256, and 280 (for proteins) nm.
- In which form you send the results. We will send you the picture of the gel and/or the traces of the chromatograms and the measured masses for the collected proteins if applicable. We can receive the samples in the two forms (lyophilized or in solution).
