How do you solubilize KLH conjugates?

The KLH conjugates are dissolved in PBS at a concentration of about 1 mg/ml based upon the amount listed on the tube label. Most conjugates are readily soluble, although some may remain turbid. When the peptides are conjugated to KLH, most remain clear and completely soluble, but occasionally a precipitate forms. The conjugate will likely still work well as an immunogen.  We suggest trying PBS first, as the conjugate will probably dissolve without any problems. It is recommended that you try to dissolve a small amount first. Sometimes a higher salt concentration (0.9 M NaCl) is recommended for maximum solubility of KLH preps.
