Does Bio-Synthesis offer PEGYlated Peptides?

Yes, Bio-Synthesis offers PEGylated peptide synthesis and modifcation. Polyethyleneglycol PEGs are uncharged, hydrophilic and non- toxic, non-immunogenic, non-antigenic and highly soluble polymer. Peptide PEgylated conjugates show a decresed degradation by metabolic enzymes and a reduction or elimination of protein immunogenicity which often used in drug discovery application. We offer various size of  PEG ranging from 2 to 24 PEG units with spacer lengths fro 18 to 95 angstroms. Smallest unit is a PEG of 11 ‐ amino ‐ 3,6,9 ‐ trioxaundecanoic acid for example is often used as a spacer between modifications such as a biotin or fluorescent tag, as it decreases interference in peptide folding and the peptide ‐ receptor binding interaction. This modification is often used as spacer  before an N ‐ terminal modification.
