Do you provide phosphorylated peptide

Yes, BSI provides custom synthesis for phosphorylated peptides

Protein or peptide phosphorylation has been found to be important for the regulating of many critical biological functions. Thousands of known protein phosphorylation sites have already been discovered.

Bio-Synthesis provides phosphorylated peptide synthesis for single to multiple site incorporation of the phosphor group at various scales. Several types of phosphorylated amino acids can be incorporated into a peptide. Phosphorylated tyrosine, serine or threonine can be positioned anywhere within a given peptide sequence. However, even though multiple phosphorylated amino acids can be added, they can negatively affect peptide synthesis and purification.

Bio-Synthesis has been producing phosphorylated peptides and phospho-specific antibodies for numerous years now, and has found that it is very important to start with a quality phospho-peptide when producing phospho-specific polyclonal antibodies. For the production of regular polyclonal antibodies, using a peptide antigen with a purity of >85% works just fine. However, we found that the use of phosphorylated peptides with a purity of
>90% works much better for antibody production. In addition, the protocol used of phosphorylation is also important. Unlike other labs which make one non-phosphorylated peptide and split the synthesis into two, and then phosphorylate unprotected amino acids in a one pot reaction to save costs, Bio-Synthesis makes two separate peptides (a non-phospho peptide and a phospho-peptide). For the modified phosphorylated peptide, we use pre-phosphorylated amino acids from reliable sources to ensure the integrity of the starting materials.
