Custom Peptide Synthesis
Bio-Synthesis is a provider of Custom Peptide Synthesis for the life science research community since 1984. We offer a complete range of peptide synthesis services ranging from bulk API peptides to high throughput library peptides and array peptide preparation. Custom Peptides Synthesis is performed to produce research-grade or bulk API polypeptides. We specialize in both, liquid phase and solid phase Fmoc-chemistry. Liquid Phase Peptide Synthesis is used for the synthesis of very short peptides such as dipeptides, while large-scale Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis is well suited for preparing biologically active peptides including long, difficult and hydrophobic peptides. Custom Oligonucleotide Synthesis
Bio-Synthesis is a provider of Custom Oligo Synthesis services. Oligonucleotides are synthesized as unmodified or modified chemical structures with defined sequences using a procedure known as Phosphoramidite solid-phase synthesis. Oligos which are synthesized using solid-phase phosphoramidite chemistry are often purified by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) or PAGE to achieve the desired purity. Synthetic DNA or RNA oligonucleotides obtained by solid-phase synthesis are employed in a majority of molecular biology applications such as PCR, real-time PCR, sequencing, site directed mutagenesis, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) assays, microarrays and various therapeutic applications.
As a pioneer in oligonucleotide synthesis, Bio-Synthesis has been pursuing the development of new oligonucleotide-based techniques that can produce compounds with superior binding affinity and chemical/biological stability. As such, Bio-Synthesis has introduced a third generation of nucleic acid analogs, Bridged Nucleic Acid (BNA). These are RNA analogues which can be synthesized and spiked with DNA or RNA in order to modify the formation of nucleic acid helices.
