BODIPY 564/570, Orange-Red Emission
BODIPY™ 564/570 C3 is a member of the boron-dipyrromethene (BODIPY) family of fluorophores, which are widely recognized for their exceptional brightness, narrow emission spectra, high fluorescence quantum yields, and outstanding photostability. These characteristics make BODIPY dyes excellent fluorescent labels for nucleic acid research and molecular diagnostics.
The C3 linker provides a three-carbon spacer between the fluorophore and the oligonucleotide, improving dye accessibility while minimizing steric effects that could interfere with hybridization or biomolecular interactions. The relatively compact linker also preserves probe performance compared with bulkier labeling strategies.
BODIPY™ 564/570 C3 emits bright orange fluorescence and is compatible with common fluorescence instrumentation equipped with 561 nm laser excitation. It is frequently selected for multiplex fluorescence experiments because of its narrow emission profile and limited spectral overlap with green and far-red fluorophores.

Fluorescent Dye Modifications
-20°C To -70°C
Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at -20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
