Dapoxyl Fluor Dye
Dapoxyl is a family of highly environment-sensitive fluorescent dyes (solvatochromic fluorophores) widely used in biochemical and biophysical research. Unlike conventional fluorophores that produce relatively constant fluorescence, Dapoxyl dyes exhibit significant changes in fluorescence intensity and emission spectrum depending on solvent polarity, molecular binding, and local microenvironment.
This unique behavior makes Dapoxyl particularly useful for monitoring structural changes, molecular recognition events, nucleic acid hybridization, and protein–nucleic acid interactions. Upon binding to hydrophobic environments or biomolecular targets, fluorescence often increases substantially, providing excellent signal-to-background ratios.
Bio-Synthesis offers custom Dapoxyl-labeled oligonucleotides for DNA, RNA, PNA, aptamers, antisense oligonucleotides, probes, and other synthetic nucleic acids. Dapoxyl labels can be incorporated through suitable phosphoramidite building blocks or attached by post-synthetic conjugation, depending on the chemistry required.

Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at 20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
