Dyomic DY-550, Orange Emission
DY-550 is a premium orange-emitting fluorophore developed by Dyomics GmbH for advanced fluorescence labeling of nucleic acids and other biomolecules. As a member of the Dyomics® DY Series, DY-550 combines excellent brightness, high quantum yield, outstanding photostability, and superior aqueous solubility, making it well suited for demanding molecular biology, imaging, and diagnostic applications.
The dye is efficiently excited using 543 nm HeNe lasers, 561 nm solid-state lasers, and many 532 nm laser systems, making it compatible with most modern fluorescence microscopes, confocal imaging systems, flow cytometers, fluorescence scanners, and microplate readers. Its bright orange emission offers excellent sensitivity while providing good spectral separation from green- and far-red fluorophores in multiplex fluorescence experiments.

Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at 20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
