Amino C6-dT can be incorporated at any position within an oligonucleotide at time of synthesis. This modification provide an active primary amino group that can be further used to conjugation with variety of moieties such as biotin, digoxigenin, fluorescent dyes, quenchers, magnetic beads or enzymes such as HRP or alkaline phosphatase. The primary amine labelled oligos can also be conjugated to carboxyl functional groups usually for solid supports applications using EDC mediated reaction.
