Sequences are analyzed for hydrophobicity at pH 2 and pH 6.8, aggregation potential,
and other known chemistry issues that may arise due to the peptide's amino acid
composition. The customer is notified of any potential issues ahead of time so that
sequence modifications can be made prior to synthesis when possible. Our peptide
design tool provides analysis output for peptide sequences. If specifications of
the order are not achieved, the customer is notified immediately and given advice
for redesigning the sequence or exploring alternative chemistries.
We use liquid phase and solid phase fmoc peptide chemistries, streamlined production
with fully automated instrumentation and a 24 hour support group located in Texas.
We provide comprehensive oversight to ensure the highest standards of peptide quality.
Solid phase synthesis is performed using optimized Fmoc, Boc methodologies
in a state-of-the-art platform for the rapid synthesis of peptide
in large and high throughput quantity. Cleavage of peptides is performed using trifluoroacetic
acid (TFA), hydrogen fluoride (HF), or other appropriate methods. Most of the peptides
are purified by HPLC using reverse phase C4 and C18 columns. Alternative purification
methods (e.g., ion exchange and gel filtration chromatography) are used when needed.
After satisfactory QC, the peptides are purified by preparative reverse phase HPLC,
freeze dried, packaged and dispatched.
Delivery of custom peptides includes MS and HPLC analysis certificate. Additional
analytical data (e.g., sequencing, amino acid analysis) is available upon request.
