Long RNA synthesis

We can chemically synthesize RNA up to 120 mer, longer RNA can be made by enzymatic method, using ultra-high yield vitro transcription technology to synthesize long RNA up to 3kb. The high yields are achieved by modifying typical transcription reaction conditions so that very high nucleotide concentrations can be effectively used. The procedures include design of the DNA template, gene synthesis, IVT, RNA purification and quantification, followed by gel electrophoresis. The resulting long RNA can be used for in vitro translation, antisense/microinjection studies, and isolation of RNA binding proteins.
