Custom Spotted Array Chip Printing
BioSynthesis's microarray slide printing facilities can provide all kinds of arrays with maxium flexibility and precisions. The DNA, RNA, LNA PNA, Peptides or proteins can be synthesize by BSI or provide by our clients are diluted in various printing buffer, and stored in 96-well or 384-well microplates as printing source plates. A quill-based spotter is used to print oligos on a glass based solid support. Depending on the spot number (ranging from a few tens to a few thousands) and slide number (ranging from a few to over one hundred), this can be finished in hours or days with a single run. The resulting arrays have extremely high reproducibility and consistency.

The array processing involves target sample labeling, printing, hybridization, scanning, and data analysis by using various commerical microarrays platform such as Affymetric, Illumina, Agilent etc.
Additional array related services such as DNA/RNA Extraction, RNA quality check, Real-Time PCR, western blot, data analysis and consultations.
Quality Control
Replicated spots and slides are used to monitor technical variations. In addition, pre-scan with fast dye staining is conducted to make sure the spot size and morphology meet the expectation. Sometimes a test hybridization is conducted if need. |
