Bio-Synthesis offers Cy3.5 fluorescent dye oligonucleotide labeling. Cy3.5 can be use to replce Aexa 594 or DyLight 594. It has an absorbance maximum of 581nm and an emission maximum of 596 nm. This dye are suitable for use in application such as fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET), time resolved- fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TR-FRET), and fluorescence polarization (FP).

Cy3.5 dye can be incorporated at any position within an Oligonucleotide post-synthetically or at time of synthesis. An oligonucleotide modified with a primary amine group is used to covalently attach dye with oligonucleotide via NHS ester chemistry; other cross-linking chemistries are also available depending on particular project specifications . Dual HPLC purification is highly recommended when using post-synthetic conjugation.
