Amino Acids

Amino Acids are molecules composed of amino groups, a side chain residue and a carboxylic group, the exception is the amino acid glycine. 


Amino acid side chains vary between amino acids. The natrural amino acid units make up a peptide or protein molecule when joiined together in a precise sequence when made on a ribosome.
